NFA Golf Classic
This year's NFA Classic benefits our expanding technological needs at Norwood-Fontbonne Academy. The pandemic proved to be a challenging year for most schools, and NFA's technology has been asked to do more than ever before. Fortunately, the school was well-positioned to support the challenges of remote instruction and the other learning initiatives, but the reality is that our faculty (and staff) laptops are now entering their sixth year and are at the end of their technology life cycle.
Your support of the NFA Classic will serve to refresh faculty and staff MacBooks, which will enable us to do even more innovative things in the NFA classrooms, whether they be physical or virtual. NFA will be well suited to answer the challenges of the oncoming year and to explore even more dynamic teaching and learning opportunities.
A dedicated group of parent, alumni, and grandparent volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds that directly support the student experience at NFA. Your support enhances our academic and co-curricular programs and helps continue the tradition of excellence rooted in the charism of the Sisters of Saint Joseph that was established with the school’s founding in 1920.
This event is a scramble-style tournament, with rules that emphasize fun without the pressure of players keeping individual scores. Each player hits a tee shot on each hole, but everyone plays from the spot of the best shot.
Are you new to golf or need clubs? We have you covered! North Hills Country Club has rental clubs available upon request.
