From 1972 to 2010, Mr. George M. Aspen was an invaluable fixture at Norwood-Fontbonne Academy. Throughout his nearly 40 years of service, Mr. Aspen was the epitome of a gentleman and served as a role model for the entire school community. With his humble and modest demeanor, Mr. Aspen touched the hearts and minds of so many of our graduates, parents, and staff.

Mr. Aspen's legacy lives on forever, not only from our fond memories, but through the work to be accomplished by the George M. Aspen Fund for the Greatest Good. A family member recalled that Mr. Aspen "loved every inch of the place". In this spirit, the fund impacts all areas of NFA: facilities, professional development, and curriculum enhancements. Fund proceeds are allocated annually to an initiative selected by the NFA Advisory Board.

This fund honors George Aspen's legacy, and in doing so, perpetuates the mission of Norwood-Fontbonne Academy. There is not a more fitting tribute to a man who believed so strongly in his students, in education, and in NFA.
