Norwood-Fontbonne Academy offers limited tuition assistance to those with demonstrated financial need. After an assessment, the National Association of Independent Schools’ (NAIS) School and Student Services will make a recommendation to the Office of Business Operations as a guideline in determining individual awards. Tuition assistance is renewable and families are required to apply each year.
Applying for tuition assistance does not affect your child’s chances of admission. The processes are simultaneous, but separate. That said, each family also bears the primary responsibility for completing all necessary steps of the tuition assistance application.
- Complete and submit the Parent’s Financial Statement (PFS). Online form can be found at sssbynais.org. NFA code is 5424.
- You will be required to upload the following documentation: most recent tax return, W-2, and pay stub.
- Deadline: April 15
Tuition assistance decision letters will be sent to each applicant family in early May.
Tuition assistance may also be available from outside organizations such as:
The Children’s Scholarship Fund (for Philadelphia residents only – application deadline March 1)
BLOCS (application deadline April 15)
If you have any questions about the tuition assistance process, please contact Nancy Nadler, Director of Business Operations, 215-247-3811, ext. 202.
