Middle School Homework and Assessments

ASSESSMENT PLANNIN
Please utilize the whiteboard in the SJAH main office (near the copier) to identify quizzes, tests, project due dates for each month. Please identify the grade/class, subject, and assessment type. Students should not have more than two or three assessments on one day.

HOMEWORK

To build on our homework policy stated in the student handbook, I'd like to define homework expectations across subject areas for middle school. Doing this will ensure that we are providing a streamlined approach to homework so that students are building up the stamina to prepare for high school homework load. Nightly homework in core subject areas creates a predictable routine and allows parents to gauge their child's abilities with skills.
