NFA Alumna Marguerite Walters Adzick '02 Secures Partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles

Norwood-Fontbonne Academy alumna Marguerite Walters Adzick '02, and her team at Addison Bay, teamed up with the Philadelphia Eagles to create a limited-edition collection just for Birds fans this fall.

The Eagles have collaborated with Addison Bay on an exclusive activewear line available now at the Eagles Pro Shops, Addison Bay's websites, and Fanatics.

The launch of this clothing line, which features a variety of modern apparel pieces, including varsity quarter zips, tanks, leggings, seamed flounce skorts, cardigan sweatshirts, Panama dresses, and more, has been in the making for almost a year. Adzick, who was the Philadelphia Eagles Fan of the Year in 2004 as a teenager, admits she's an "old-school Kelly Green girl," so the wardrobe has a nice mix of items in the current Midnight Green and the classic Kelly Green colors, which are paired together with Addison Bay's trademark stripes. It shouldn't come as a surprise then that Adzick's favorite piece is a Kelly Green Abbott Cardigan Sweatshirt.

This entrepreneurial journey for Adzick began in 2018 as she faced a crossroads in her career. Adzick was thriving in a corporate marketing job with Lilly Pulitzer, a fashion company. She was also pregnant with her first child. By all accounts, she had everything.

But she had an idea that she had been sitting on for almost two years. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, she recognized a striking absence in the retail space. There were very few options for women who wanted, as Adzick puts it, "activewear for anywhere" – fashion-forward options for girls on the go.

Adzick knew that if she didn't act now, she wouldn't once her daughter was born, so the NFA graduate and former University of Virginia lacrosse moved forward with a plan. She hired a team and went to work. She left Lilly Pulitzer six months pregnant and, in September 2018, launched Addison Bay. At the time, Adzick lived on Addison Street in Philadelphia, and she loved swimming in Avalon, New Jersey, hence the Bay part.

Eight years later, Adzick's journey came full circle as she partnered with the Eagles.
