Halloween Details

On Wednesday, October 29, students in Grades 1-3 will join in a Halloween Parade at 1pm on the Fontbonne Campus. Parents of students in these grades are invited to watch, while students in Grades 4-8 and the houses will cheer on the parade and hand out treats.

Student Costumes should be:

  • School appropriate
  • Simple and comfortable for all-day wear
  • Without props or elaborate makeup
  • Designed so that students can wear them independently

Parade Schedule & Location:

  • Time: 1pm
  • Location: Bus Lane between Fontbonne Building and Gate House

Details for Families and Students:

  • Junior Level Montessori and Grades 1-3: These students will parade through the Bus Lane and Car Line at 1pm (3 laps).

  • Parents of these students are invited to watch and should park in the main parking lot of the Fontbonne Campus.

  • Please do not park on Sunset Avenue.
  • Student Sign-Out:  Parents may sign out their child after the parade. Visit the Fontbonne main office to do so; staff will assist with the process.

Houses and Grades 4-8:

  • Teachers will be in touch regarding any fall or halloween-themed activities in their classrooms.

Important Notes:

  • Full School Day: All students will return to their classrooms after the parade, and October 29 remains a full school day.

  • Parade Dismissal: Parents who wish to sign their child out early can go to the Fontbonne Campus main office, where additional staff will help with dismissal.

Let's make this a fun, safe, and memorable Halloween for our students!

MIDDLE SCHOOL NOTE:

While Middle School students will not wear costumes, they are invited to dress down in festive Halloween colors—think orange, black, purple, and green.

This year, our Middle School students will take on a special role in spreading Halloween joy throughout the school. Here’s what’s in store:

  • Treat Bag Prep: Students will help assemble treat bags for our younger students in Grades 1–5.

  • Parade Participation: They’ll attend the Halloween Parade and assist in guiding the younger students through the route.

  • Classroom Fun: Before the parade, Middle School students will visit classrooms to hand out treats and add to the excitement.

We’re thrilled to give our Middle School students a chance to celebrate Halloween in a meaningful way, helping make the day memorable for our younger Bears while enjoying the festive spirit themselves.
