Facilities Maintenance Technician
Norwood Fontbonne Academy, located in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, is looking for a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician with at least 2-5 years experience to perform safe and efficient preventive and corrective maintenance, custodial and grounds-keeping tasks that ensure the care and upkeep of our school property.

Essential Role Activities
  • Routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities; structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC in accordance with SOP’s (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety guidelines

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; certifications are a plus
     
  • At least 5 years (verifiable) facility maintenance related experience
     
  • Must have current and valid driver’s license
     
  • Must be able to successfully obtain Federal, State and School clearances 
     
  • Meet basic physical and work environment requirements to perform all duties; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl, lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderately heavy objects and materials weighing up to 50 pounds; may occasionally involve heavier objects and materials weighing up to 100 pounds requiring 2-person lifts
