Elementary Teachers (Grades K–5) for 2026-2027 School Year

Norwood-Fontbonne Academy seeks passionate and dedicated Elementary Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year.

The ideal candidate is a skilled educator who creates a nurturing, engaging, and academically challenging classroom environment while supporting the social and emotional growth of each student.

This teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues and families to foster a strong sense of community and support student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver daily instruction aligned with curriculum goals and standards
     
  • Develop engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners
     
  • Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback
     
  • Identify and support individual student needs in collaboration with colleagues and support staff
     
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, administrators, and team members
     
  • Establish and uphold classroom expectations and school policies
     
  • Create a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
     
  • Participate actively in the life of the school community
     
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education
     
  • Pennsylvania teaching certification in PK–4 or Grades 4–8 (preferred)
