Cross Country Coaches

Norwood-Fontbonne Academy is searching for coaches for its Cross Country Club (4th - 8th Grade). NFA is located in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute engaging and effective cross country practices.
  • Develop skills and understanding of the sport.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.
  • Attend and actively participate in all scheduled races, practices, and team events.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with players, parents, and school administration.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience, preferred at the middle school level, but not a requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of cross country techniques, strategies, and rules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young student-athletes.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive environment
  • Willingness to adhere to all school and league policies and procedures.
  • Must complete or provide
