Baseball Coaches

Norwood-Fontbonne Academy is searching for JV Coaches (grades 5-6) and Varsity Coaches(grades 7-8).
Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute engaging and effective baseball practices.
  • Develop players' skills and understanding of the game.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.
  • Attend and actively participate in all scheduled games, practices, and team events.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with players, parents, and school administration.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience, preferred at the middle school level, but not a requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of baseball techniques, strategies, and rules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young student athletes.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive environment
  • Willingness to adhere to all school and league policies and procedures.
  • Must complete or provide 

Schedule and Compensation:

  • This is a part-time position with after-school commitments.. Practices and home games take place at Miles Park (303 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444).
     
  • One coach must take the bus to practices and games with the team.
     
  • The team practices Monday through Thursday.
     
  • The season begins in March and concludes in May
