Ways to Contribute

Annual Fund
Gifts to NFA’s Annual Fund are unrestricted funds which supplement the school’s budget and support a wide range of enhancements.  Each year, at the discretion of the administration, funding from the Annual Fund is allocated to the school’s spiritual development efforts, academic and co-curricular offerings, staff development programs, the upkeep and improvement of the physical plant, tuition assistance, and the investment fund.  Contributions to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible and may be charged to a donor’s Mastercard or Visa.  You may donate online.

Reaching Our Dream Capital Campaign
The Reaching Our Dream Capital Campaign, targeting funds to support the current building project, has already received commitments totaling more than $2.2 million from over 300 donors.  This initial phase of the plan will cost at least $7 million, with completion expected in the Spring of 2008.  Leadership Level gifts begin at $10,000 and all contributions are payable over three years.  So far, contributions to the campaign have ranged from $250 to $250,000.  In addition, your support can be acknowledged through naming opportunities that have been developed around campus improvements.  Contributions to the Capital Campaign are tax-deductible and may be charged to a donor’s Mastercard or Visa.  You may donate online.

Matching Gifts
Donors employed by companies with matching gift programs are encouraged to make use of these opportunities when making their contributions to NFA.  Personal gifts to the school can be doubled and sometimes tripled by this employee benefit.

EITC - Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program
The EITC provides companies with a 75 percent tax credit for donations to a non-profit scholarship program.  The tax credit increases to 90 percent if the company commits to making the same donations for two consecutive years.  A business paying taxes in Pennsylvania can receive up to $300,000 in tax credits annually.  NFA is a scholarship recipient organization whose funding is directed through the BLOCS Program.  Please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 215-247-3811 ext. 207 or development@norfon.org for more information.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities

Gifts to NFA may be made in the form of appreciated stocks and securities.  This type of donation can provide the donor with significant tax advantages.  Please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 215-247-3811 ext. 207 or development@norfon.org for more information.

Planned Giving
The simplest and most familiar way to make a planned gift is to name NFA as a beneficiary in your will.  After providing for heirs, donors may wish to include the school in their estate plans.  A personal attorney, accountant, tax advisor, or the NFA Development Office can provide information on how to designate a charitable bequest of NFA.  Please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 215-247-3811 ext. 207 or development@norfon.org for more information.

Tributes
When making a contribution to NFA, donors may honor or memorialize a special person or event.  A letter will be sent from the Academy to the designated individual informing them of your generosity.

For more information or to make a donation please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 215-247-3811 ext. 207 or development@norfon.org.
