2009-2010 Extended Day Program

The Loft
Montessori Preshool and Kindergarten

Purpose:

To provide care for children in the Montessori Preschools (3, 4 and 5 year olds) and for children in the Kindergarten. The Loft program is intended primarily for students of working parents.

Staff:

Three or four adults according to need

Calendar:

The Loft will operate every day that school is in session, except when there is a noon dismissal. During the "phase-in" period the Loft will be available only to those students who are registered for the program. Regular Loft sessions will begin on Monday, September 14, 2009.

Location:

Norwood Campus - Stone House, Second Floor

Transportation:

Children will be shuttled via school van from the Fontbonne campus to the Loft.

Grades One through Six

Purpose:

To provide care for students in Grades 1-6 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The After Care program is intended primarily for students of working parents.

Staff:

Three or four adults according to need

Calendar:

After Care will operate every day that NFA is in session, beginning with the first full week of school, except when there is a noon dismissal.

Location:

Fontbonne Building

Attire:

Students will change into play clothes when they arrive at After Care.
